U18s win again

Posted by Richard in Tottenham Hotspur football Club news, 29th September 2009, 11:34am

Our Under-18s made it four wins on the trot in the Premier Academy League with a 4-1 victory at Bristol City on Saturday.

Kudus Oyenuga opened the scoring and Harry Kane's fine free-kick made it 2-0 after 25 minutes.

Paul McBride finished well after being sent clear by Paul Jose Mpoku 10 minutes later for a 3-0 lead at the break.

City reduced arrears on the hour but substitute Jesse Waller-Lassen did the trick again after entering the fray with the fourth and final goal after 75 minutes. He scored twice off the bench against Fulham last week.

We'll have the views of coach Alex Inglethorpe later...

Spurs U18s: Butler; Smith, Byrne, Durojaiye (Blackwood, 80), Francis-Angol; Fredericks (Waller-Lassen, 70), Mpoku, Nicholson, Kane, McBride (Lancaster, 80); Oyenuga. Unused subs: Ranieri, O'Neill.
