Camden's big read

Posted by news desk in Local News, 14th November 2008, 4:51pm

To celebrate the National Year of Reading, the British Library has joined up with Camden's library service to organise a Big Read.

The 'Big Read' is taking place at the moment, up until December all across Camden.

To get involved, simply start reading as many of the following titles as you can:

Greetings from Bury Park by Sarfraz Manzoor

Love Falls by Esther Freud

Black Gold of the Sun by Ekow Eshun

My Once Upon a Time by Diran Adebayo

Miss Herbert by Adam Thirlwell

The War for Children’s Minds, by Stephen Law

On 16 December 2008 between 6pm and 9pm, the British Library will host an evening with the authors from the title list of the 'Big Read'. This event will offer a unique opportunity for you to ask these innovative and stimulating authors any questions you may have about their novels, not to mention the opportunity to have personal copies signed.
