Swiss Cottage Farmers Market

Can anyone tell me if there is a farmers market at Swiss Cottage anymore and where it is held? I cannot find any details on the internet.

Hi, I believe the market is on a Wednesday 10am-4pm. It is held on Eton Avenue opposite Hampstead Theatre. Hope this helps. Sally.

The old Community Market had to move for the new development. The Farmers Market was at Sainsbury's and may still be ,don't know.
There is a food only market (at Eton Avenue right by Swiss Cottage tube station) on Wednesdays and food plus other items like designer clothes perfumes jewellery gems books and Thai food on Fridays and Saturdays. There are now choices of French cheeses and meats, fresh eggs and organic or cheaper fruit and veg. Saturday is the best day for the most traders go there then.
I used to be the volunteer manager of the old market and still support the new one!! -
Thanks for the info. Does anyone know about these French markets that are popping up, there was one in Belsize Park not long ago- are there plans for one to be in Swiss Cottage?

From what I believe there won't be any French Markets until March 2009. I will keep you posted as to when and where (if any are in this area) when the dates arrive.

I was there this morning (Wednesday 11th Feb) and picked up some brilliant produce - and not expensive either, which was a surprise.
